Exploration and New Ventures Team Lead
(IN 2013-500)
Responsibilities:
• Integrate outcrop and subsurface geological and geophysical data with the scope of understanding and deriving structural/tectonic models to integrate and support basin and play fairway analysis and impact on petroleum systems
• Supervise seismic data interpretation to generate structural maps both in TWT and depth
Excellent knowledge of petroleum system analysis and ability to supervise basin modeling tasks if needed
• Provide High level functional guidance/ overview for 3D acquisition and processing
• Ensure most applicable technology, equipment and techniques
• Advice during execution, input to seismic processing workflow
• Provide functional guidance (and hands-on at times) on quantitative interpretation to assist play evaluation and mapping, play fairways definition, seismic stratigraphic interpretation, reservoir distribution, potential fluid content, resource estimates and play/prospect risk assessment
• Partner with Mubadala Petroleum's global New Ventures team in the acquisition of new acreage in Indonesia
Job Requirements:
• Must be a strong integrator and demonstrate your passion for technical standards
• Leading a team to do the same.
• As a result, you will have a proven track record in successful ventures
• Having at least 15-20 years experience across multiple basins
