The Company has been operating in Indonesia since 1939 as a Dutch's Company under the name of Marine Establishment/ME. PT PAL Indonesia (Persero) was launched in 1980. The Company is based in Surabaya East Java and has 1 representative office in Jakarta. At present, The Company is supported by approximately 2,685 dedicated human resources. PT PAL Indonesia (Persero) installed production capacity of 3 units of 50,000 DWT ships and 2 units of 20,000 DWT ships per year. PAL also provides repair and maintenance services with docking capacity of 600,000 DWT per year.
